Bing Crosby & Fred Astaire, simply fantastic!

I can’t begin to tell you
How much you mean to me
My world would end if ever we were through
I can’t begin to tell you
How happy I would be
If I could speak my mind like others do
I make such pretty speeches whenever we’re apart
But when you’re near
The words I choose refuse to leave my heart
So take the sweetest phrases the world has ever known
And make believe I’ve said them all to you

Bing Crosby- ‘Pennies From Heaven’

I downloaded this compilation album last summer, and I have to say I cannot look at the album cover without laughing my ass off.

I also noticed this was playing in the background in Bioshock 2 in one of the locations.

Bing Crosby and Al Jolson sing Alexander’s Ragtime Band

Bing Crosby sings Moonlight Becomes You from the Paramount picture Road to Morocco (My personal favourite of the Road To… films)

I’m very surprised at the followers I’ve already gotten, even though it’s a few, I didn’t think many people nowadays liked Bing Crosby!

What attracted me to Bing was at work, they played one of his Columbia records, Sweet Georgia Brown, and I instantly loved that voice of his. Ever since he’s been my favourite male singer. Ever since I’ve looked for that record. The record that started it all.

Now, what was it that attracted you to him?
